It is the belief of Trinity Lutheran School that appearance and attire does affect a person's attitude and behavior. All clothing should be modest and in good taste – to the glory of God. Our dress regulations and appearance requirements are set out by the following guidelines to which all students are required to adhere. Clothing will be clean and neat at all times, with no holes, or holes repaired neatly.
The dress code will be enforced by the following means: Teachers or staff will note the improper attire or grooming. If appropriate-sized clothing can be found on the free uniform racks, the student will be required to change their clothes. If not, the parents/guardians will be notified by phone and will be expected to supply the proper clothing for their child. The student may also receive a Disciplinary Notice, which requires acknowledgement and signature of parent/guardian. In addition to the classroom teacher’s observations, periodic dress code checks will be performed without notice in order to help maintain compliance with our dress code. Trinity staff and the Board of Education reserve the right to revise or update this code as needed.
